About Foundation
The Hartz Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to serving underserved communities and empowering youth through mentorship, education, and health and wellness initiatives. Founded in 2020, our organization is committed to creating opportunities that inspire growth, strengthen communities, and make a lasting impact.
The Hartz Foundation, Inc. was established in 2020 by Sayreville, New Jersey native and professional athlete Myles Hartsfield. After playing collegiate football at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) from 2016 to 2019, Myles pursued a professional career in the NFL. He signed with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent in 2020, where he earned a starting role as a defensive back through the 2023 season. In 2023, he joined the San Francisco 49ers during their preseason program and is currently a free agent.
While achieving success on the football field, Myles remained deeply committed to giving back to the community that helped shape him. In 2020, he partnered with others to open Limitless Fitness in Sayreville, New Jersey, promoting health, wellness, and fitness within the local community. That same year, he founded The Hartz Foundation, Inc. to expand his impact beyond athletics and provide meaningful support to underserved individuals and families.
